At Commonweal there are plenty of clubs and teams for girls of all abilities and interests, and opportunities for exciting off site activities for the more adventurous including sailing weekends and skiing holidays.

With its own playing fields, netball and tennis courts, swimming pool and gym there are plenty of activities to keep Commonweal girls active and healthy. Through the House System girls learn how to work together as a team especially important during the annual "raiding game" played on Alfred's Day.

Alfred's Day, inaugurated by the founders of Commonweal, Miss Bray and Miss Bourne, in 1917, is one of the highlights of the Commonweal sporting calendar - the most impressive team winning the House Trophy.

The Performing and Creative Arts come to life at Commonweal with a long-standing commitment that every pupil is given the opportunity to discover and develop their talents.

Plays and concerts put on by the Drama and Music departments are always highly praised and enjoyed by all concerned and each production sets new standards.
