Teaching under 5s is not just about finger painting or trying to show them that the square pegs don't really need to be hammered as hard as the round ones to go in the square holes. 

We try capturing a child's imagination, helping them to interact with others and creating a warm, trusting environment so the child learns that school really is fun.

With the use of Lodge School's own sports halls, netball and football courts and swimming pool there's plenty of opportunity for children to let off steam.

And of course, there's always an opportunity for someone to star in one of the many plays and concerts organised throughout the year.

It's certainly not all work, work, work at West Dene more like fun, fun, fun.
